Registration Process

Before registering, please note that all new account registrations are required to complete an additional account approval process before becoming fully active and being allowed to place bids. You will not be able to place bids until the approval process is complete and a representative has updated your account. All necessary instructions will be provided once your registration is successfully completed.

Terms and Conditions for Public Online Auctions

Effective immediately, new bidders will require a pre-authorization call.

1. Bidding Registration
   All online bidders must register, submit an application for bidding approval, and receive a bidder number before bidding. After confirming your email address, you will receive your bidder number by email. This number, along with your selected password (minimum 8 characters), allows you to bid on available items. By registering, you grant permission for updates and notifications via email or text.
2. Items Sold As-Is
   All items are sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty or guarantee implied. Sales are final. It is the bidder’s responsibility to know which items they are bidding on. No refunds or exchanges are allowed. Please confirm item descriptions, condition, and usability before bidding. Bidding is a binding contract, and once an item is declared sold, it becomes the buyer’s responsibility.
3. Interactive Bidding Format
   Bids can be placed in set increments or as maximum bids. Dynamic closing ensures that if a bid is placed in the last 60 seconds, bidding extends by an additional 2 minutes. Issues caused by internet interruptions are beyond our control, and we cannot be held responsible for missed bids.
4. Buyer's Premium and Shipping
   An 8% buyer's premium will be added to all invoices, along with applicable sales tax. Shipping costs are separate and must be paid before items are shipped.
5. Tax Exemption
   If you are tax-exempt, you must provide your paperwork before the auction ends. Tax will not be removed after the invoice is created.
6. Payment Terms
   Payments are accepted via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Invoices will be processed immediately after the auction ends, using the credit card on file unless prior arrangements have been made.
7. Pickup and Transport
   Buyers must schedule pickups with the auction company and present proof of purchase. You may need to bring your own cage for transport (refer to the lot description for details).
8. Abandoned Items
   Items not picked up within 3 days after the sale will be considered abandoned and may be resold. A $10 per day, per bird fee will apply for care after 24 hours, increasing to $20 per day after 72 hours unless prior arrangements are made.
9. Legal Jurisdiction
   All legal matters will be governed by the laws of Louisiana and handled in Lafayette Parish in Broussard, Louisiana.
10. Policy Updates
    Terms and conditions are subject to change. Please review them periodically to stay informed.
11. Final Responsibility
    Once merchandise has left the facility, it is no longer our responsibility. Please inspect all items before leaving.

Seller Account Information

Seller item submission privileges may be disabled for your account, limiting access to add or submit new auction items at this time. However, you can still access data and information related to previously sold or submitted items. If you believe this limitation was applied in error, please contact us for assistance.

Cage and Transport Requirements

• Cage Specifications
  All cages must be clean, have a solid bottom, and include clean food and water containers.
  For larger birds, a limited number of larger cages are available. Contact us in advance to check availability and reserve a cage.
• Transport Guidelines
  Once items are sold, they will be sent home in their consigned cages unless otherwise agreed.
